It has been a crazy, hectic year. As I look back, I truly have a lot to be thankful for. In January I passed my dietetic exam, and officially became a Registered Dietitian. Two short weeks later, in February, I welcomed my second daughter into the world. After all of the issues I had early on in pregnancy, I feel so blessed to have this amazing, happy, perfectly healthy little angel baby. I can’t imagine life without her and I’m so glad she chose me to be her mommy. While getting out of the house at first was a bit chaotic with the two girls, I think I finally got it down (most of the time anyway!).

We spent the early winter months adjusting to our new family of four. Summer seemed to fly by. We weren’t able to get to the beach as much as we would have liked to, but we did a lot of day trips and spent a week in the outer banks with friends. My husband and I celebrated our 5-year anniversary in Las Vegas. My big girl turned 3 and started pre-school this fall (sob). It is amazing to see how much she has changed and grown in just a year. She is a real person. The past few weeks I have been able to spend some alone time with her (not so easy these days with two kids), getting in the holiday spirit and I am so amazed and impressed with the little lady she is turning into. Over the past few weeks I got to see my big girl in her first dance recital and as a sheep in her first school performance about the birth of baby Jesus. As a family we have been able to go into NYC to see the lights and tree, go ice-skating, have breakfast with Santa, attend Christmas and Chanukah parties and really get into the holiday spirit.

Thank you all for continuing to read my blog and sharing all of these amazing moments with me. I wish you and your families the happiest of holidays!
